Cosmetic dental veneers are a great way to improve your smile if you don’t like the look of your teeth or overall smile and don’t want to undergo braces, or simply don’t like the colour of your teeth and want to whiten them permanently, or have chipped front teeth, or have ageing stained porcelain veneers and want a more natural finish.
Composite Resin Bonding
This is a quicker and more affordable solution to improve your smile. A tooth coloured composite resin is applied to one or more teeth that have become chipped, fractured, discoloured or decayed. Composite bonding won’t last as long as veneers, but you should be able to wear them for a number of years successfully. Proper care should be taken of your teeth by avoiding hard food such as hard lollies, ice cubes and nuts and similar substances that can crack the bonding material. An imperfect bite can also limit its life. Generally, this is not recommended if you grind your teeth when you sleep.
Dental veneers sometimes referred to as porcelain veneers are a wafer-thin, custom-made shell for teeth. The Veneers made of tooth-coloured ceramic materials are designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve the overall look of a smile. They offer superior aesthetics as well as durability compared to a composite resin bonding.
Everyone has a smile that is individually distinctive in appearance and functional bite. Our dentists specialise in creating one-of-a-kind customised veneers, enhancing your smile.
If you are considering getting lip injections, please discuss this with your dentist at the time of consultation. Injection enhanced lips can cast a shadow over your teeth, making them appear darker than natural lips.
